  1. The modern world is hinged on internet and telecommunication connectivity. We cannot imagine a world without the internet or telephone/cellphone connections, primarily because most of our daily business is based on connecting with people living hundreds and thousands of miles away.

  2. I cant access or play the songs I uploaded because the Library screen is blocked by the Connector Ad. The android app crashes with a server error every time I go to use it (4 times now).

    The whole thing is unusable.

    Thanks for the feedback and you are correct. We are working on an entire new build that will be compatible with all recent Windows platforms. We are getting there and truly appreciate your comments.

  6. I can't log in to the desktop client, I am getting "Network error: cannot reach Maestro server!!"

    When I click on "Maestro Support" I'm taken to a 404 page. Real nice. https://www.maestro.fm/support

    Please fix either one or both. This is getting frustrating.

    Thanks so much for your feedback. I just checked the Maestro Support link and it seems to be working fine. The application could have had an intermittent issue when you tried so we apologize as we are currently in the process of a complete product overhaul. As for the client application, you are correct that we are experiencing some log-in issues for the Windows Client. The Mac Client is working properly, but we are working on fixing the Windows Client, while at the same time enhancing the application during this overhaul.

    We really appreciate your help in improving Maestro and I can assure you our team is working on some really amazing things with this overhaul.

    Hello Mohammed – we apologize you are having trouble with the Connector application. We have experienced this before and it was working. It seems like there are just some systems where we are experiencing some problems. We are looking into this and will get back to you with a solution. I’m providing the support email here which will connect to me directly (alerts@maestro.fm) and we can chat via email. We appreciate your interest in Maestro and are hoping to make this a better experience in the coming months. We are hard at work developing a new platform for our amazing users.

  8. Maestro seems to only support ascii, and not UTF8 encoded directory and filenames, or even ID-tags. For goodness sakes, I could not even enter my own name properly when signing up! Do you have any plans to support UTF8 anytime soon? I have lots of music directories, files and ID-tags in hebrew, cyrillic in addition to diacritics to ascii signs (à,ö,ø,å,æ etc) and currently they show up as "raw" 8bit UTF8.

  11. A glaring flaw in all other solutions is there is not volume equalization. I can't just play the music without having to constantly tweak the volume knob. It would be great to incorporate and/or use replaygain or mp3gain tags.

  13. No idea, but crying out. I've synchronised my music library installed Maestro on Android device and just can't connect. I get "Unexpected error from server". Wrote message from Maestro account, send email to support ... nothing. So my idea would be: work on better support.

    Very much apologize for the delay in responding, as this slipped unintentionally. This has been an inconsistent problem, but we are currently in the process of a redesign and rebuild of the entire platform. Thanks again.

  14. I dont want to upload ALL my music......

    When Maestro is launched offer options. Most IMPORTANTLY
    The ability to select a SPECIFIC Folder on my hard drive and upload
    the folders NAME and its contents.

    The music I want to share has been categorized by Group and Album
    so that I can link or "Share" specific albums

    It should work just like the "windows" file system does

    Also, the ability to upload the specific albums cover art

    I would not use this service until this is an option

    You guys missed the boat for a music sharing service

I've tried posting else ware that the connector on the web site says its connected when the connector won't connect stating its connected from somewhere else. since no new songs have been added to my playlist I can only surmise that no one else has accessed my account. So we need the ability to kick ourselves ghosted connections using the web site.

  17. I also sent this to Pandora and others!
    I just noticed that when I use Pandora it uses about 30 megs an hour but in the real world I use many times that since it loads the whole song right away – wasting bandwidth. I propose only load the first 15 seconds which is probably only 128K and then if I push pause and then play again it will only load another 128k then if I listen for longer than that it loads the rest of the song. This would drastically reduce the bandwidth I and everyone uses also keeping…
